Recruiting 1 Cambodian Youth As a Blog Reporter for ASEAN-KOREA Center: ‘ASEAN CORRESPONDENTS’

The ASEAN-Korea Centre is currently looking for passionate writers/bloggers who are citizens of the 10 ASEAN Member States (Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam) to create articles for our English blog. The correspondents will be responsible for providing contents on current events and socio-cultural trends including lifestyle, festivals, food, music, arts, and literature of ASEAN countries

♣ About the ASEAN-Korea Centre

The ASEAN-Korea Centre was inaugurated as an intergovernmental organization with the ten ASEAN Member States and Korea as its members in March 2009, the year which marked the 20th anniversary of the Dialogue Partnership between ASEAN and Korea. It was founded in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed at the 11th ASEAN-Republic of Korea (ROK) Summit in November 2007. The MOU entered into force in December 2008.

QUALIFICATIONS:

▶ Applicants must be a blog/SNS enthusiast with experience in writing on blogs, online journals, or personal website etc. using the English language.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

▶ Correspondents shall provide up to two articles per month; the length of the text alone should be A4 2pages or more (font type: Arial, font size: 12) and should be accompanied by relevant photos or images.

▶ The photos used in the articles should be taken by the correspondents themselves unless due to unavoidable constraints they need to use photos from other sources; in this case the sources must be clearly stated.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

▶ Working Period: March 2015 – August 2015 (6 months in total)
▶ Remuneration: Correspondents will be compensated in lump sum at the end of their stint
▶ All contents will be subject to evaluation and revision by the Centre before posting. All articles and copyrights will be owned by the ASEAN-Korea Centre.

○ Please kindly save the file name as (8th ASEAN Correspondent_NAME_Country.doc)

▶ Selected candidates will be notified via e-mail during the first week of March, 2015)

NOTE: 

▶ At the end of the program, the Centre will provide a Certificate of Participation to every correspondent who actively contributed articles every month.
▶ Correspondents may contribute more than 1 article per month.
